符號學分析動漫角色之藝術應用-以洪東祿創作為例

摘 要
動漫畫圖像在人類生活裡扮演了多種功能-娛樂、溝通、或作為訊息傳達的媒體。人們的「漫畫經驗」不再只侷限於閱讀漫畫書刊或卡通,而是「漫畫圖像」本身的造型和語彙所傳達的熟悉感及認同感。本研究所探討的「動漫角色符號」,選擇台灣當代藝術家洪東祿,挪用現成動漫圖像,再現於個人藝術創作的系列作品為研究對象。研究方法以符號學的原理,分析在藝術作品中動漫畫角色之象徵意義,利用毗鄰軸與系譜軸的概念,將動畫角色於藝術作品中視為符號單位,區隔符號的組別,並分析符號與符號之間的結構關係,再從深層結構關係探討角色的象徵意涵,從其內在意義(記號義)對應其外在形式(記號徵),整理出符號間指涉的關聯性。

Abstract
Animation graphics play multiple roles in people’s life, for example: entertainment, communication or a media to delivery messages. Comics’ experience for people is not only about reading comic or watching cartoon, but also is a connection between people by the design of graphics or the specific words in comics.In this study, the Animation Character Graphics by Tunglu Hung, the contemporary artist in Taiwan, were selected to investigate the correlation between animation characters. Based on the Semiotic theory, animation character is characterized as a sign by syntagm and paradigms concepts and the symbolism of animation character is analyzed. Links between sign and sign of animation characters are analyzed and the symbolism of characters is also discussed from Signifier corresponds to Signified.
